Bespoke Engineering specialise in the repair, service, inspection, load testing , and up-grade of high integrity material handling equipment, predominantly overhead travelling gantry cranes. We have a vast array of clients ranging from small engineering workshops to blue-chip companies in the steel and nuclear power industries. As such we invest a lot of time and effort into ensuring that all our personnel are suitably trained, qualified and experienced in the engineering fields and industries that we serve.

We are currently seeking personnel for the following posts:-
Field Service Technician
As a field service engineer you will be required to attend the sites of all BES clients, with a view to carrying out the scope of work as detailed in the relevant contract. You will be suitably qualified and experienced in the engineering industry, preferably with material handling equipment experience. You must hold a full, clean UK driving license and be prepared to travel extensively within the UK with possible overseas travel also. As a front line diplomat for the company you must be presentable and competent, you must be self-motivated, adaptable and able to troubleshoot and operate alone as well as being a team player that can fit in and work with a team of like-minded personnel to assist with duties that may or may not normally be classed as part of your core activities. You must be active, comfortable with working at height and prepared to stay away from home for extended periods.
Field Service Technician – Electrical
You should be familiar with AC to 440v – DC to 500v power and control systems, be able to read electrical schematic drawings, install and commission various types of control equipment, and trouble shoot problems on a wide range of equipment associated within the material handling business, in the event of breakdown/failure. You should be capable of carrying out basic mechanical tasks, prepared to expand your knowledge, and a team player.
Field Service Technician – Mechanical
You should be familiar with all general engineering practices, including machine failure diagnosis, strip down, repair, replacement, parts recognition/specification, new build and installation. You should be capable of carrying out basic electrical tasks, prepared to expand you knowledge and a team player.
